Mango Cheesecake

yes, baking continues! i'm back to cheese.

this week, i'm happy to present ...


absolutely comparable to the ones at cafes! i don't tell lies =p

in my opinion, cheesecake is easier to make as compared to sponge cake. you should understand why since this girl has so many bad times with sponge cake. well, but cheesecakes are always more expensive due to cream cheese are used. one block of quality cream cheese costs about sgd4.75, and two blocks are required for a whole 20cm cake.
ok, anyway, the total cost of my cake is around sgd14.00. and into 8 slices, one slice costs a mere sgd1.75.
and at nydc, their mango tango (a slice of mango cheesecake and a scoop of normal vanilla ice-cream) can cost you a close sgd10.00. of course, that is business making and reasonable for that price.
my point is, since baking is my joy and cakes are like heaven, why not diy. my family gets a good share too.
