Boycott companies that do animal testing!

Some years ago, i read in pets magazine about animal testing and got to learn that cosmetic brands like L'Oreal and Maybelline are associated with the testing on animals. From that day onwards, I stopped buying Maybelline products like its lipgloss. And when mummy wanted to purchase L'Oreal products, I strongly urged her not to.

One of the articles that was published in this month's CLEO magazine touches on animal testing, which again, brought to my attention about this issue.

Click here for a list of companies that do test on animals.
You will see familiar brands like:
Pantene, Clairol, Gillette, etc. under Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G).
Garnier, Biotherm, Lancome, Maybelline, Vichy, etc. all under L'Oreal group.

Last week when I was at the mall, I almost bought a Vichy face scrub! And felt so relieved that I didn't..after getting to know the above.

Iams is also one of products under P&G and is a brand popularly known for its cat food. I further did some online reading and found that P&G does chemical test on cats. What an irony... Doing harmful test on cats for producing cat food?

Animals don't deserve such ill treatment and freedom being deprived by human. Think about 'experimenters pumping chemicals into rats' stomachs, hacking muscle tissue from dogs' thighs, and putting baby monkeys in isolation chambers far from their mothers.'
There are alternatives to testing on animals.

Boycott those companies! Stop buying their products!
